Tricking push button style cuffs like darby or hiatt ect. - Tricking Cobb cuffs with the twisty barrell.
If you supply the cuffs i can make the push button styke for $250 and the twisy barrell for $375.00
There is a lot more work then one would imagine. Almost all of it is by hand. i found out the hard way that what is written ib Dick Normans
book does not disclose all the details. The push button cuffs need drilled out and a separate sleeve needs manufactured (it precisely fits down
the tube . The twisters are a labor of love. It might take 3000 strokes of a very fine file,,, testing the parts every to strokes to see how they fit. I
The push buttons are a lot of blacksmitherty and the tristers are like doing Jewry work.
You might also think about the towers, where you push them in... then twist them apart. I've had a lot of luck with them too. normans book
says you can't make the tower leg irons behave like the wrist irons... he was wrong again... I can.
Also check out the Old English Wrist Stocks. I've used these in hundreds of shows at Bush Gardens, where I was The resident magician, and
it always got a round of applause LINK TO THE STOCKS
Magically,
Jay Lesli
