| The magician writes a prediction. A group of colored poker chips is handed to a volunteer who is asked to make a stack with them. The volunteer is asked to touch red to red, green to green ectecerta. Various combinations are possible. It seems the chips can go together sever different ways. When the volunteer has completed the stack the top and bottom colors are noted. The prediction is read and the colors match. The effect can be performed a half dozen times in a row - all with different outcomes - and the performer will always be right! Each time the trick is played the volunteer becomes more confused.
