At the age of eight Jay Leslie performed his first magic trick. By age fourteen he was a regular performer on television as "Aladdin The Wonder Boy" and on "Talent Scene" But most people remember him from "The Bozo The Clown Show". As a youngster Jay traveled the east coast performing at the opening of 50 new shopping centers and is one of the last performers in America to perform live at Movie-Matinee picture shows.
Jay Leslie has appeared hundreds of times on television both as magician and escape artist. He has been the voice of several television commercials and has raised money for many non profits through his performances.
Jay had the benefits of learning from Jim Swoger. Jims illusion show traveled with 18 assistants. Jim was also a ventriloquist and master builder of props. Over the years Jay and Jim became best of friends. Eventually Jim retired and sold the House Of Enchantment to Jay for one dollar. With it came all of Jim's tools and valuable knowledge of how to design build magicians apparatus. Jay however still likes performing shows best of all.
