First you perform the routine like normal, then “accidentally” pull one string longer then expected and proceed to match it - then exceed it- in a comical and perplexing manor until each string is as long as five feet. 1. The main tube is smaller then the original. Matter of fact, it could slip inside the original.
2. Thin pieces of custom made decorative embellishments were fused to all four sides of each stick, creating an upgraded magical appearance. When you hold the sticks four or more feet from the audience the tube may blend into your background and the remaining colored decoration creates an illusion of the sticks being smaller then they really are.
3. Even though the gimmick fits in a space that’s 27 percent smaller it weighs one ounce more giving you absolute control. You can cause the string to retract slowly & smoothly and you can start or stop it on command!
4. The tube is shorter (17 inches or 67cm) which allows the sticks to pack smaller.
5. Jay’s also thoughtfully installed “stops” near the top of the sticks on the inside. The “stops” prevent the gimmicks from rubbing against the string and prevent the string from ever binding.

Three colors to chose from: Red, Blue and Yellow. Choose a color that's different from your costume and curtains.

1. Yellow is the brightest. Yellow is a great color for kids shows and it's easiest to see on stages.
2. Blue is the most deceptive. The audience pays more attention to the string and tassels. Blue is best if you believe the performance is more important then the prop.
3. Red is complementary to many magic themes but all colors work just as smoothly as each other.
