A beautiful frame is handed for inspection. A plexiglass sheet with acuratly machine drilled holes is also pased out. The plexiglass sheet is slid into the frame and anyone may look through both holes in the frame and plate noting the holes align. A ribbon, or shoe lace, is then visably threaded through the holes in the frame and sheet. The frame is turned around to show the ribbon or lace passes completly through. The ribbon. Nothing could be more fair. In a split second the plate is removed. It happens so fast it astonishes the audience and they have no idea how it is done. All parts can immediatly be handed for examination again. There is no clue as how the magician causes this astonishing effect.

I like to keep the Ribbon Fantastique separate from my other effects. It’s brought out when I can’t control a chatty spectator. I'll get their attention and let them know, this trick is just for them. After threading I'll abruptly remove the plexiglass sheet causing everyone in the audience to be dumbfounded. My comment to the spectator in question is “Can you explain that ? Well then, why don’t you watch this next trick, I think you’ll like it too”. If you perform regularly you‘ll realize this application of the effect a nice way to quell wandering lips and know it alls.

Look how poorly the holes are drilled, alignned and spaced. Not very clean. This product is sold by the big name dealer in New York and sells for $75.00. Its not even close to our quality. I bought this direct from the maker and was very disapionted that they took our item, without permission, and made it sub-standard. My product should proudly sit in your display cabinet and theirs should be thrown in the trash. Please do not confuse Jay Leslie's House Of Enchantment with other "want to be's" useing "Enchanted" in their business name.
